Many top leaders have been influenced and shaped to some extent by a man they never met named Earl Nightingale. He has been hailed as the “Dean of Personal Development” and his body of work is extensive.
One of the many impactful things he advocated we each do as leaders, is to take out a blank sheet of paper and spend some time, say 15 or 20 minutes, to brainstorm where our business will be in the future.
How will your business change in the next 5, 10, or 20 years? What will those on the forefront of development in your business field be doing by then? How and what can you change to become one of those change leaders?
It’s a daunting challenge to think that way, but imagine the possibilities that taking a strategic timeout could produce. Hmm…
Consider adding this to your “To do” list and putting it on your schedule.
