3 Secrets of Developing Genuine Leaders

Nearly everyone understands what being a genuine leader means.  However, it seems that many of today’s leaders are little more than implementers of policy and procedure.

 

They have been asked too many times to check their brains at the door.

 

To fix this trend, senior leaders need to release the reins on their leadership team:

 

•   Give them the power to act, and tell you about it afterwards.

•   Don’t just give them the answers when questions arise; tell them to figure it out.

•   Be far less accessible via phone, text, and email;  let them feel the pressure of being in-charge.

 

By doing these kinds of things, you’ll strengthen your current leaders and ensure that the next generation of leaders are strong ones!
