Properly formulated Policies and Procedures Promote Productive Paradigms!
When we have to deal with a bad policy or procedure, it’s like having a sore that won’t heal; doubly so if we are told to just follow it and that it cannot be changed.
Then if your customers, or other stakeholders get told things like, “We can’t do this or that, even though it makes sense, because the policy says… (blah, blah, blah),” the resulting negative paradigm on both your staff and stakeholder can be deadly.
